This beautiful piece can be worn as either a brooch or pendant. It is hallmarked sterling silver and contains seven turquoise beads.
The oval piece has a large green translucent stone, possibly jade, but more likely green quartz. Applied to the stone is a sterling basket with three flowers, centered with the turquoise beads. The green oval stone has a very intricate silver border done in an open design and containing four more of the turquoise beads. I believe it was made in the first quarter of the twentieth Century.
The back has a pin with a safety clasp and a ring style bale to hold your chain. The word STERLING is imprinted on the bottom.
The piece measures approximately 2 3/8" by 2". It weighs 27.5 grams and is in fine vintage condition. The piece has the original patina and I have not polished it. You may do so if you desire.
