From the New York estate of a prominent stock market guru, comes this delightful terra cotta vase. These people were part of the "horse set", and they collected interesting items with a horse theme.
The vase is quite large and bulbous. It stands approximately 10" high and has a bottom diameter of 6", expanding to about double that at the center.
The vase is a lovely pale orange color and the surface resembles that of an orange peel. There are four cream colored horses dancing around the middle of the piece.
The bottom contains the artist's signature, which is impossible for me to decipher, and the date 1986. The original owner collected many works of important artists, so this may well be of that caliber. This is truly a stunning piece of art pottery and I think would look great in your collection. It is in fine vintage condition.
Because of the size of this vase, I have offered shipment via parcel select.
Please Note: For any desired international shipment, advance approval is required before shipment of orders. Out of country shipments, must be by express mail international. Please see my shop terms of sale as found on the left hand side of any page.
