This wonderful demi-parure dates to the Art Deco era , circa 1920-1930. It is done in a style known as egyptian revival. As archaeologists uncovered the tombs of ancient Egypt, there was a resurgence in anything Egyptian.
This is a very popular design and highlighted in many books on fashion jewelry. The bracelet and earrings are made of faux coral and turquoise blue faience tubular beads which are attached with brass filigree findings.
The bracelet measures 8" in length and is 2" wide. The charming filigree clasp closes with a tube like closure. It is in very nice vintage condition, with a few minor rust spots on the brass and slight wearing on a few of the turquoise beads.
The earrings are meant for pierced ears and have ear wires, which may have been replacements, as I see other sets with clip back earrings. They consist of the same brass filigree work and matching coral and turquoise beads. they are a chandelier style and measure about 2" in length. They are in nice vintage condition.
