Here is an early 20th Century pottery syrup container. This is the way one would have brought syrup home from the grocer's. It has a dark brown glaze and stands just under 9" tall. The bottom has an impressed "USA" mark. I can detect no chips, cracks, flakes or other damage.
I have two of these available. One has the remainder of the original cork seal in the small pouring hole. You may take both or your choice of the two.
Great pieces for display in your Country Kitchen, or nice additions to an early utilitarian pottery collection!
As always, all reasonable offers are welcomed and considered.
Enjoy each day!

Autumn approaches. The wind sighs, the trees sway, the leaves turn, the sun softens, the rains refresh. Autumn approaches.
