Young Folks Library ~ Ten Volumes ~ 3,900+ pgs. ~ Illustrated
There are ten volumes of the Young Folk's Library in this lot. They are from the 1943, Fourth Edition of this popular series. Published by the Auxiliary Education League, Chicago, Illinois. Copyright 1938 by Charles E. Knapp. They include: A Book of Brave Deeds; A Book of Famous Myths & Legends; Stories of School and College Days; A Book of Famous Fairy Tales; A Book of Famous Explorers; Tales of Fantasy; The Merry Maker; the Book of Adventure; The Animal Story Book; The Story Teller. Altogether, there are more than 3,900 pages of exciting reading for youngsters. The ten volumes include eighty-five full color plates and nearly 1,400 black and white illustrations! Each volume included a Notes section and a Suggested Supplementary Reading list. The books are in great shape (very good to excellent) for children's books. The covers are colorful and bright (see images), the insides are are clean and are not marked in. Some very respectful kids did some very careful reading of these volumes. A few of the corner are lightly bumped, there is some brown spotting on the edges of most, but overall they are very nice.
Many, many hours of reading fun for the Young Folks in your family!
As always, all reasonable offers are welcomed and considered.
Enjoy each day!
