Here is a set of anchor Hocking Golden Shell cups, saucers, creamer and sugar with lid. There are nine cups, ten saucers, and one each of the sugar with lid and the creamer. The Swirl pattern was produced from 1965 until 1976. The Golden Shell features 22 karat trim around the lips of the cups, saucers, creamer and sugar. The lid has no trim.
Theses are pictured on pages 113-114 of "Anchor Hocking's Fire-King & More", 1998, by Florence.
The cups and sugar are marked "Anchor Hocking Fire-King, Oven-Proof, Made in U.S.A." The saucers are marked "Fire-King Oven Ware, Made in U.S.A." The creamer is marked "Anchor Hocking, heat Resistant, made in U.S.A."
Six cups stand just under 2 1/2" tall and are 3 5/8" across the rims, the other three are the taller 2 3/4" size. The saucers are 5 3/4" in diameter. The creamer stands 3 5/8" tall and is 3 3/8" across the rim. The sugar is 4 3/4" tall to the top of the lid and 3 3/4" across the rim. I can detect no chips, cracks, flakes of other damage to any of these pieces. These is a little loss of the gilt around some of the cup rims.
Enjoy each day!
