Here is a great vintage coffee or tea pot from Harker Pottery Company of Chester, WV. The intaglio design is White Flowers against the blue body. Harker Pottery was founded by Benjamin Harker in 1840. In 1931 the factory was mover from across the river in Ohio to the Chester site because of repeated flooding problems on the original site. The Cameoware line was introduced in the 1930's and ran into the early 1950's. This piece is a coffee or tea pot shape. On the bottom of the piece is the Cameoware mark (see images).
The piece measures 9" across the handle to the tip of the spout, stands 6 1/4" tall to the top of the lid knob, and is 4 3/4" across the base. There is a small flake on the under side of the lid, another on the very tip of the spout, a spot on the top of the handle where the clue color did not take, and crazing (see images).
A really cool look for your Retro kitchen!
Enjoy each day!
