Frog Pin Brooch is a book piece pictured on Page 136 of Brunialti's, A Tribute to America. The pin was produced in 1945 after a lucite bellied style in what appears to be the same mold that was introduced in Mademoiselle magazine for Richter's in New York. Since the publication of the Brunialti book, it is conceded among costume jewelry experts that the piece was manufactured by and is an unsigned Mazer.
It measures approximately 2-1/2 x 2-1/4" and has a safety closure. It is signed, STERLING, impressed into the metal on the reverse of the pin.
It is in Excellent Condition and has not been polished.
Among collectible costume jewelry frog pins, this is a standout image and example of fine vintage costume jewelry from the 1940s that has been authenticated in Brunialti's, A Tribute to America.
Your beautiful frog pin will arrive in our signature gift box with silver stretch tie, ready to love or give.
