Vintage Trifari Clip Earrings from the famed Scherazade Collection of 1949 by Alfred Philippe in the most preferred color combination of simulated ruby red and sapphire blue color.
This is a highly venerated Trifari design that is much adored by collectors and is a classic of vintage costume jewelry design by Trifari. They are pictured on Page 132 of Brunialti's "American Costume Jewelry", Vol. 1.

The central, melon-cut , simulated ruby red stones are often referred to as a "jello mold" stones, much beloved by collectors for their gorgeous color and meant to imitate the carved Cartier precious stone Moghul jewelry . The central stone is appointed with a clear rhinestone center and pear-shaped, simulated sapphire cabochons alternate with clear rhinestones in gold tone metal surrounding the central stone.

They measure approximately 1 x 1" and have properly-working ear clips.

The clips are each signed, "TRIFARI" with a crown over the T and "PAT. PEND."

They are in Excellent Condition.

Your beautiful, Vintage Trifari Scherazade Clip Earrings will arrive in our signature gift box with silver stretch tie, ready to love or give.
