The flying saucer shaped chaffing dish fits perfectly in the indent of the 14'' tray. Three pillars hold up thew 2 quart Pyrex dish in mid-century style. There's a well in the 8'' base to hold a warming candle. The 11 1/2'' cradle for the glass dish has a hole so the flame warms the glass not the burns the metal. The piece stands 8 1/2'' tall/ The same flower (dogwood?) and acorn pattern is used on the lid and tray. The tray has a slightly ruffled edge that's pinked around the edge. There's a few little marks on this fabulous 50's serving piece. It's marked, Wilson Hand Wrought Aluminum Brooklyn New York.
