This little bird cage is entirely made of clear plastic, except for the paper tray. Clear plastic doors slide up and down to retrieve your feathered friend. A food and water holder are attached to the front to keep your little Tweety well fed and hydrated. There are no perches, but I'm sure they could be purchased or made. Te metal paper tray slides easily to keep the cage clean and tidy.
The bottom section of the front and back panel has a flower and scroll design. I've seen these dated to as early as the 20's and as late as the 40's. Either way that's a long time for a plastic piece, most likely from the dime store, to survive. The handle has a rounded notch to hang on a stand. It's 11'' high, 10 1/2'' wide and 7 1/2'' deep.
This early plastic piece is in excellent condition, free of chips and cracks.
