Half Yard Long Print Pink Roses Chromolithograph Bullis.
This oh so gorgeous print is by the Victorian artist J. Bullis. It showcases a gorgeous grouping of freshly-gathered pink cabbage roses and rosebuds. The title is "The Three Bridesmaids", and it is often referred to as "The Three Sisters". It is a chromolithograph in the half yard long format.
This print was made as a premium when one would redeem several B. T. Babbitt Soap wrappers. It was printed in 1896 by The Donaldson Brothers of new York, and was also available as a supplement to the Art Interchange Magazine as No. 366. The colors are bright and beautiful, no fading. The print is in VG++ condition with just a hint of a very light bend right corner area, not detracting, but mentioned for accuracy. The background is a light green coloring, not blue, and do excuse any glass glare lines.
The print is housed in a vintage white painted frame with ornate brass corner embellishments. The frame is also in VG++ condition. Overall size is aprox 16.5 x 24.5 inches, ready to hang. Please note: we ship either FedEx or USPS Parcel Post as a less inexpensive choice. Ruby Lane's postage calculator doesn't always show Parcel Post, so do inquire if you would like your parcel sent at the less expensive rate.
