1913 Roses Calendar Print Raoul de Longpre Antique
1913 Raoul de Longpre Calendar Print Cabbage Roses.
This sweet old 1913 calendar showcases the artwork of the Victorian artist, Raoul de Longpre. Raoul was the younger brother of Paul de Longpre, and his rose studies are also quite beautiful. This calendar has only one page for March (possibly a salesman's sample), and above it is the lithograph by Raoul. Both are mounted on a very heavy stock paperboard, with the silk ribbon hanger still attached. It measures 12 x 15 inches, and is in VG++condition. Unlike most calendars, this one has nice rounded corners. It was originally made in 1910 by the Thomas Murphy Company of Red Oak, Iowa. Postage is an estimate, any overages are cheerfully refunded.
