This gorgeous antique chromolithograph was made in 1910 by the Gray Lithographic Company of New York. It is an outstanding study of cabbage roses and delicate sweet peas. In Victorian times, the red rose symbolized "True Love", while the little sweet pea stood for "Delicate Pleasures". One can almost smell their perfumes!
In the center is an image shaped like a keyhole, where one could put in their advertising or handwritten notes. In today's environment, it could be easily used for favorite photos or scrapbook embellishments, such as showcasing announcements, etc. In pristine condition, overall size is 10 x 12.75". Please note, the text is not on the print, only the internet photo.
