23" Solid Dome Turned Head Bisque Doll 632 X H I am not sure who made this beauty but she is German and reminds me of Alt, Beck & Gottschalck dolls. This type of doll was made from about 1885 on. She has the very light bisque, glass eyes and delicate light brow feathered eyebrows. She has painted upper and lower eyelashes . She has the red dots in the eyes and nostrils. She has a closed mouth. She has a nice kid body with bisque hands. The doll is marked across the back of the shoulder plate 632 and then in the center like and X with maybe a number sign (similar to how the Alt Beck &n Gottschalck dolls are marked) and then on the right the letter H. The center marking is where the middle sew hole is so you can't see it all clearly. There are 3 sew holes in the back but the head is glued on to the body. The head is about 6" tall and at the width part across the shoulder almost 6.5". I see no damage to the head or the hands. She has a great body and she has the thin waist.
