Made in America by Madame Alexander, this beautiful 21" Jacqueline face Gainsborough Portrait doll is #2211, produced in 1978 only. She has long auburn hair pulled back and fastened at the temples, with short bangs, curls above her left ear and soft waves falling below her shoulders. Her clear blue eyes have long full lashes. She has blue on her eyelids and blue as an eyeliner. Her flawless face has just enough blush, perfect pink lips, and matching nail polish. Her debutante body has jointed knees and high heeled feet. The Dress! Our portrait beauty wears a gorgeous blush pink dress with a matching sash and huge billowing bow that gives the impression of a bustle. The overdress is ivory lace with long sleeves, high collar and wide ruffle over the skirt. She is wearing a "diamond" ring. A sheer pink "picture hat" completes the look, adorned with bows of pink and yellow. Her necessaries are a pink petticoat trimmed in lace with rows of netting underneath for fullness. Her matching pink pantalets are trimmed in the same way, and she has long sheer stockings and strappy high heeled shoes. The shoes and hat elastic are stretched. For some reason it was hard to get the true color of the dress but it is pink. She is nice and crispy and is from a smoke free and pet free environment.
