Back in the day, The Addis Company was a high end department store in downtown Syracuse, New York. This darling little coat came from that store, and at the time, faux curly Persian lamb was such a fashion statement. Embellished with velvet covered buttons, the right side of the coat lays atop the left hand side, with the buttons secured with plastic loops. The coat has ¾ sleeves and slit pockets. The slinky lining is luscious!
The only tag in the coat is that of the department store, with no size tag. The measurements are as follows: 20” across at the bust line, on the outside; sleeves, from underarm seam to hem, measure 10”; the peter pan collar measures 3 ½” wide; from shoulder to shoulder, measurement is 17”; and the length from the top of the collar to the hem is 25.”
Overall, this coat is in good condition with a few flaws that aren’t a distraction. There are a few frayed areas, such as the collar and bottom edge, that are only noticed up close. The lining is pristine. No odors or any other flaws are noted.
