Here are two sweet little brushes that apparently the baby really enjoyed! They both are engraved WEBSTER STERLING along with the Webster hallmark; W with an arrow thru it. The whisk broom is engraved P W L.
The baby brush is quite detailed. The handle displays swirls and beads. The top of the brush shows faint lines with a square for engraving (not engraved). The bristles appear to be nylon. Brush measures 1 1/4" in height and 5 5/8" in length. The bristles are implanted in wood that had been painted with most of the paint worn off. The brush shows a sizable ding toward the top with misc' small dings and scuffs. The patina is very nice.
The clothing brush doesn't look to match the baby brush but thought I'd include it with this listing, being Webster. It measures 5 1/2" in length and 2 1/4" at the widest point of bristles. The bristles appear to be nylon and some of them are missing from wear. The handle shows some dings. The patina is likewise very nice.
The two look to be very old and would make a nice addition to a collection.
