At one time, it became a European custom to give your hired help a Christmas inspired porcelain plate filled with home made goodies. The intent, no doubt, was appreciation and to give something of value, both being homemade treats and something of value to be cherished for many years.
Being offered is a lot of three Copenhagen porcelain collector's plates, and are described as follows:
1972 Royal Copenhagen Osterland 'In The Desert' hand hallmarked 1974 B & G Copenhagen porcelain 9074 'Landsbyjul Christmas in the Village' 1975 B & G Copenhagen porcelain 9075 'Jul ved den gamle vandmelle Christmas at the Old Water-Mill' hand hallmarked
All three collector plates are in perfect condition with wire strung thru the backs for hanging. They each measure 7" across.
