Limoges Art Nouveau hand painted serving dish with handles. The handles and the edge are trimmed in a generous layer of gold. The underside is marked GDA. This is the mark for Gerard Dufraisseix & Abbot and it was used between 1900 and 1941. Reference for this mark was found in the Collectors Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain, Third Edition by Mary Frank Gaston. The initials of the artist, PEW are painted in Gold. The approximate measurements are 8" wide including the handles, 6 1/16" without the handles. Excellent antique condition. No chips, no cracks, no crazing. No loss of gold.
