This fantastic Jugendstil Art Nouveau brass desk or spotlight lamp (circa 1900-1910), has 5 red cabochon jewels and is multi adjustable. It was probably made in France or Belgium. The jewels show pink when lit in pictures but actually shine red in person. It has 2 adjusters with nice big brass turn keys on the ends of the square tubing. The shade is held in place by a bump and groove on the socket and inside the shade, that locks it in when you push up and turn the shade. It has small holes around the bottom of the shade as these type of lamps were sold with and without fringe or crystals. It uses an appliance size bulb. It has an iron loader inside the base. A wonderful piece of art and history. The lamp when upright stands 14" tall, the shade is 5 3/4" across and the base is 6" by 4 1/2". You'll fall in love with this lamp! Thanks for looking!
