This Empire scenic slag glass lamp (circa 1915-1920), Has a rural scenic shade and a decoratively ornate base. The shade has it`s original glass with carmel on the top and a sky blue in the skirt. It`s open topped, sits on a shade rest then is covered by a cast cap. The tall base is nicely cast iron, has 2 long pull chain sockets and has been re-wired with cloth covered cord. The beautiful polychrome finish is dark bronze with a patina green wash. The lamp stands 24 1/2" tall, the shade is 18" across and the base is 8" across.
