This small, wonderful, well cast French Art Nouveau figural lamp (circa 1895-1905), has a tambourine playing gypsy lady with a rare tulip shade. The tulip is hand blown into a mold and has wonderful color and detail. No chips or cracks. The shade has a phonetic socket (shade is held in with a screw in holder inside) and lights up beautifully! The brass stem (wire-way) and leaves are polychromed green. The figurine is really finely cast with lots of detail. She does have a bump in her left arm just below the elbow (see pics). She stands on a metal stand that`s mounted on marbleized wood and onyx. She has a French import sticker saying Made in France. It`s been re-wired with cloth covered cord and an in-line switch. The lamp stands 16" tall, the tulip is about 3" across and 3" tall and the base is almost 5" across. Thanks for looking!!
