This very unusual Art Deco figural lamp (circa 1920-1925), has a lady that`s blindfolded and has an intricately designed cape. She is standing next to a winged wheel, which we have seen on other lamps from European exhibitions of the times. She`s signed what looks like Fond de Luca Dep. ??? -Napoli (Naples). I have been unable to find her providence, but she certainly is racy (which went along with the roaring 20`s times). Her mask and cape are a subtle red, and her smile tells us she`s having fun! She sits on a marble base. The shade is a Millefiori ball made by Murano Glass Co. These shades (the ones that survived) are on many French & Italian figurines like Gerdago`s (same time period). The shade fits over a spring holder (just pull the shade off carefully, but when putting back on, squeeze the metal spring at the end to make small enough to fit the ball over). A very unique lamp!! It stands 19" tall, the shade is 6" around and the base is 5" across. Any overcharge of shipping to your area will be refunded. Thanks for looking!
