This wistful Moreau Art Nouveau slag glass lamp (circa 1895-1910), features a tambourine lady with a cut brass shade. The lovely lady has long flowing hair, is wearing a green dress and is throwing a kiss (or just got one and is savoring it?). She`s fine spelter with a double color polychrome finish. She`s signed L&F Moreau which were August Moreau`s son`s Louis and Francoise who worked with him in the company. She`s mounted on 2 pieces of marble and has the brass plaque Le Baiser (The Kiss), as well as the par L et F Moreau signature and a French import stamp. The shade is a beautifully shaped cut brass with very opalescent granite textured carmel glass. The lamp has 2 adjustable pull chain sockets and has been re-wired with cloth covered cord. It stands 30" tall, the shade is 16 1/2" across and the base is 6" across. Any overcharge of shipping to your area will be refunded. Thanks for looking!
