Ginny had competitors in the fifties and one of them was 8" Pam by Virgo. Pam looked a lot like Ginny and had lots of clothing like her , but there were a few differences. One of them was Pam's feet that had molded on shoes. They often are found with additional shoes that cover the rather homely molded ones. This doll could use some socks to keep the shoes on as they are a bit big without the socks. The doll is in very nice condition with no issues to speak of. Her clothing is nice and original. The undies have loose elastic and the dress could use some ironing. It is a sparkly ball gown, designed to appeal to little girls, of course. The doll's hair is in an up-do with a spit curl to enhance the formal look. Cute doll with sleep eyes and jointed at the shoulders and hips and neck. Her head is vinyl while her body is hard plastic.
