I am not sure if this was produced as a very small size for some table use, or if is part of a child's/doll service. It is ironstone, with molded scrolled devices at each end of bowl, and has floral transfer decoration with applied colors, as well as a rust/red trim of lines highlighting the relief areas. Marked with some painted numbers/letters on base (probably shape or decorator numbers). Probably English, ca. 1850.
Size: Approximately 4" high, 7" long, 6" wide.
Condition: Some wear to decoration, crazing and light staininG. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, Returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
