The Spode platter has blue printed design of Asian inspired floral center and border, with gilt details. Edges have brown enamel. An example is shown in Drakard and Holdway's "Spode Transfer Printed Ware 1784-1833", where it is described as "Starship", being a combination of two prints, "Star" and "Ship" patterns.

Impressed "Spodes New Stone " mark used 1822-33 and painted pattern number 3702.

Size: Approximately 14 3/8" long, 10 5/8" wide.

Condition: Excellent. Some minor wear/flecks on brown edge enamel. No chips, cracks or repairs.

Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
