Tea wares of this type are commonly (if erroneously) referred to as "Chelsea ware". It has a white porcelain body with applied sprigging. The sprigging is usually floral sprays, but in this case, it is floral garlands with pendant baskets, making it a bit unusual. It has a rococo scrolled handle and a horizontally ribbed lower section. Unmarked, but probably English ca. 1840.

Size: Approximately 4.5" high.

Condition: Excellent. Some black specks in bottom section occurred during firing No chips, cracks or repairs.

Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
