This creamware plate has a lobed border. The center is decorated with a black print transfer of a village scene with a bridge, and there are floral sprays on the flange.
No maker's marks.
English, probably Liverpool or Leeds ca. 1795
Size: 9 5/8" diameter.
Condition: Fair. Worn spot on central image (in the foliage to the right of the bridge), a few small rim chips (not too disfiguring).
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
