This white ironstone was pitcher is in the "Prairie" shape by J. Clementson. It has a graceful form with a relief design of wheat and poppies.

Printed mark on bottom with maker, J. Clementson of Hanley.

English, ca. 1865

A nice clean example of white ironstone.

Size: Approximately 12" high.

Condition: Excellent. A few stray specks of color/impurities during the manufacturing process. No chips, cracks or repairs.

Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
