This flint pattern was made during the 1850s at Sandwich. The design of vertical cables is said to be commemorating the laying of the Atlantic telegraph cable, although it is likely the pattern was made prior to that. A popular pattern in nice clear flint glass.
Size: Approximately 3 3/4" high, 2 3/8" top diameter
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
