This nineteenth century copper luster pitcher has a "mask" or "old man" spout and a dolphin bracket handle (ok, you really need to use your imagination to see a dolphin). It has a baluster form, with the lower section having an olive color ground. There are relief floral devices in bright polychrome.
Old collector's labels on bottom.
No maker's marks. English, ca. 1845
Size: Approximately 6 ¼" high.
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
