This copper luster urn has classic urn form with two incurved handles. There are blue bands 0n the neck and the body, the lower band having white reliefs, differing on each side. The classical reliefs are the same as those found on the "Shorthose" jugs.
No maker's marks. Probably English, ca. 1820
Size: Approximately 4 1/8" high, 4 1/8" top diameter.
Condition: Small chip on one handle. No other chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
