This copper luster pitcher has an interesting molded design. The basic shape is the "Gothic octagon" with geometric patterns on the main body, scrolls at the top, and a row of oval medallions around the neck These ovals are painted in various colors, with a rather casually painted luster design in each. An interesting handle shape as well.
No maker's marks. Probably Staffordshire ca. 1845-55
Size: Approximately 7 ¼" high.
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
