This small plaque has a relief molded figure of a female with her arm around a cupid. This seems like a naive version of a classical scene. The colors are bright, with the woman (or goddess) in a yellow garment with black dots, with both figures settled on a green and yellow mound. The beaded edge is in pink luster.

There is a plume device at the top, and two holes for a hanging ribbon.

Cute and colorful.

Size: Approximately 5 ½" high, 4" wide.

Condition: This has had a very good restoration. It appears part of the top plume was replaced, and the back has been coated with a replacement glaze. Not sure why, since there is no evidence of any damage to the front of the main section. Some rubbing to beaded edge.

Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
