This porcelain dish has a pure white body with a central transfer in purple of "Charity", who is so labeled. She stands with two children while holding an infant. The transfer is highlighted with enameling. There are pink luster lines on the shoulder.

No maker's marks. Old collector's label on bottom.

English, ca. 1835-40

Size: Approximately 7 ¾" diameter, 1 ½" deep.

Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs.

Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
