This pink luster dish has a lobed lozenge shape. The center has a painted scene of a cottage in a landscape. The borer is a resist design of scrolls and palmettes.
No maker's mark. Probably Staffordshire ca. 1825
Size: Approximately 9 ¾" long, 7" wide, 1 ½" deep.
Condition: 1 ½" line from edge, wear to luster and central painting. No other chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
