This pair of flint glass candlesticks retains the original pewter or Britannia metal inserts. They are of single piece molding, and are probably from one of the Pittsburgh glass manufacturers, ca. 1865. They have round bases with tapered hexagonal columns; sockets are a flared "tulip" shape. A handsome pair of antique candlesticks.
Size: Approximately 9.75" tall, 4.875"base diameter
Condition: Excellent, with only a few minute flakes on bottoms. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, Returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
