This deep pearlware bowl is probably a sugar bowl or waste bowl for a tea service. It has dark brown/black transfer of pastoral scenes, with a blue edge. (Locally this combination of transfer with colored edge is often, though erroneously called Salopian).
No maker's mark, but probably English, ca. 1800.
Size: Approximately 3" high, 4" diameter.
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
