This chalice or goblet form vessel has a "splash luster" interior and base, raised ornaments on sides, and a soft green ground on the body. Bottom shows this to be white earthenware with a "pearlware" glaze.
Unmarked, but probably English, circa 1840.
Size: Approximately 3.625" high, 3" top diameter
Condition: Excellent. Small manufacturing flaw on rim. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
