This handled decanter has a flattened round shape, with design of multiple hobstars and cross-hatching. The faceted stopper fits well, but may not be original; it has an etched number, but I cannot find a corresponding number on the decanter. No maker's mark. Brilliant period cut glass, probably American, circa 1900.
Size: Approximately 10" tall with stopper.
Condition: Very good. Pinhead nick on top rim, slight residue in bottom. No other chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
