American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Pitcher ca. 1900
This sparkling, heavy (6 pounds, 9 ounces!) pitcher has a flared base tankard form. Design is of large hobstars on each side, along with fan cutting. Star cut base with expected wear marks.
Note: International shipping is not available for this item.
Size: Approximately 9" tall, base approximately 6" diameter.
Condition: Just about as good as it gets, with some spots where slight roughness can be felt, if not seen. Upper tail of applied handle is rough, but I assume this in making, as there is no logical way for this to suffer use damage. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
