This set of 5 are heavy for their size. The flared bowls have a strawberry diamond cutting, and the bottoms are cut and polished mostly entirely across the base.
The bases have a cut and polished rim. At first I thought they may have been ground to remove chips, but they appear to have been made that way, as the bases are large (with quite a bit of variation in terms of size/thickness.
These appear to early 19th century, English or Irish, with visible striations in the glass and the aforementioned variations in sizes/thickness.
(I have an additional group of matching cordials with same characteristics).
Size: Approximately 4" high, bases approximately 2 1/4" diameter (variations among them)
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
