This oval pickle dish is from the American brilliant period of cut glass ca. 1900.
It has a rounded sawtooth edge, with a hobstar and fan design in the bottom, and a band of "Harvard" cutting as a border.
No maker's mark I can find. American, ca. 1900.
A nice, heavy small dish in a useful size and shape.
Size: Approximately 8" long, 5.75" wide, 1.5" high.
Condition: Good. Chip on one tooth, minor roughness on some others. No other chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
