This covered compote is in a pattern called "Beaded Panel", part of a related group of patterns (Beaded Mirror, Beaded Grape, etc.) which had distinctive acorn form finials on the lids. the rest of the pattern consists of stippled bands and panels.
Pattern has not been definitively attributed, but likely one of the New England glass companies.
American pressed on-flint glass of the 1870s.
Condition: Very good. No chips or cracks.
Size: Approximately 10" high, 7 5/8" diameter
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
