This bottle or decanter as a paneled body (probably part of the Huber or Crystal pattern). It has a metal pouring stopper with a multicolor marble as its stopper. Heavy applied ring at opening, polished pontil bottom. Probably made by a Pittsburgh area glass house; similar are shown in manufacturers' catalogs of the period. American, ca. 1860
Condition: Very good, signs of use, but no chips cracks or repairs. Nice and clean (what looks like a water line is a photo reflection)
Size: Approximately 9" high (without stopper)
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
