This large bowl appears to have blown/molded, with the top bands part of the molding, and the band of oval cut into the glass. The base is applied, and has a star cut bottom. Gorgeous bell tone, good wear pattern on bottom, and some of the bubbles/inclusions found in blown glass. As with most of this style glass, difficult to ascribe to a specific place and date, so I tend to be conservative and date as if in the revival period ca. 1910.
This is a large bowl - probably meant as a centerpiece or punch bowl, and very impressive for your table.
Size: Approximately 10.25" diameter, 5" high.
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
