Inspired by early nineteenth century Anglo-Irish cut glass, this amber decanter is probably from the 1920s-30s. It has cut panels around the neck, a band of diamond cuts, cut fluting in the lower section and a star cut on the bottom. There is cut fluting around the edge of the stopper. No maker's marks. Stopper and decanter both have matching numbers scratched into the glass.
Size: Approximately 8" total height, 4.5" wide, 3" base diameter.
Condition: Excellent, with just some minor flakes/chipping to stopper base. No other chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
