This small set of tongs (probably for after dinner coffee service) is in Watson's "Carrollton" pattern beginning in 1914. Heavy for their diminutive size, the design has an urn between to curving scrolls (probably inspired by the tops of colonial highboys).
No monogram. Marked for Watson, along with Sterling.
Size: Approximately 3.375" long; weight 20 grams (.64 troy ounces)
Estate silver will be in used condition, but I will take care to note any defects or condition problems arising from heavy use or abuse.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
